Addi is one of our veterinary technicians and has been working with animals for a little over 10 years. She is from Biloxi, Mississippi and started her veterinary career at a local humane society where she assisted with prepping animals for spay/neuter surgeries, as well as volunteering her time in Houston, Texas to rescue animals stranded in the wake of Hurricane Ike.
She moved to Appalachia in 2010, where she continued her work in veterinary medicine — building experience in private practice as well as emergency/critical care. Addi’s professional interests include toxicology, animal rescue, and humane education. She treats each of her patients as if they were her own, and is determined to pet every dog she meets (within reason).
In her spare time, she loves to create art, play with her dogs, and ride her bike around Huntington.
